The agent comes in the form of an oily liquid that almost immediately mixes and blends with asphalt. The mixture with Asfix Alpha shows high resistance to water.

Improves workability and distribution of the mineral and asphalt mixture
The addition of our adhesion agent markedly increases the workability of the mineral-asphalt mixture (MMA). When laid and built into the pavement, the MMA does not stick to the paving equipment.
Rejuvenates and refreshes aging asphalt
Asfix Alfa has properties that refresh aged asphalt. The addition of our agent to the production of mineral-asphalt mixtures using asphalt granules guarantees good fusion of the old binder with the new one. The strong bonding of the old binder with the new one significantly improves the ITSR index, i.e. the water and frost resistance index.
Facilitates fluxing of asphalt
Our agent regenerates asphalt, restoring its aged film, the so-called oil phase. Deprived of the Asfix Alpha additive, asphalt loses this desirable characteristic in processes associated with thermal and mechanical processing.
Used in WMA technology
WMA is a technology that involves, among other things, lowering the production temperature. It is an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional technology. The use of Asfix Alfa in WMA technology contributes to shortening the bond time between asphalt and aggregate. Asfix Alfa improves the workability of the mixtures. It makes it possible to achieve adequate compaction of mineral and asphalt mixtures at much lower temperatures than in traditional technologies.

Application and properties
Asfix Alfa agent is a universal adhesion additive for all types of mineral-asphalt mixtures, both in traditional technology (hot) and in alternative technologies, such as WMA, (so-called warm technology). Asfix Alfa is used in mixtures produced with ordinary and modified road asphalts. It is a product developed based on many years of experience in the design of mineral and asphalt mixtures.
The agent has been successfully used on the market for several years as an additive to asphalt in mineral-asphalt mixtures, such as: asphalt concrete (AC), SMA mixtures, porous asphalt (PA). It is also used as a component of mineral-asphalt mixtures using recycled asphalt granules (asphalt waste) from asphalt pavements. Such use of the adhesion agent refreshes the recycled asphalt. The use of Asfix Alfa shows a significant improvement in the adhesion of asphalt to aggregate with varying degrees of dust. Asfix Alfa is very effective as an asphalt fluxing agent ( FLUX).
Adding Asfix Alpha to asphalt generates significantly better water resistance. Comprehensive testing and analysis positively evaluated all the thermostability results obtained, confirmed by the National Technical Assessment(NTA) received.
Asfix Alfa has the consistency of a liquid, light yellow in color. The primary active ingredients in Asfix Alfa are natural oleins. It mixes easily with asphalt, its flash point is > 210°C, while its viscosity at 30°C assumes a value of about <0.09 Pas.
